General Registration Questions

Q. How much is registration?
A. $99.00 plus a PayPal payment handling fee of $3.24 So that makes it
$101.24 for each registration

Q. What do I get for my $99.00 registration fee?
A.Students receive a lot of amenities for $99 fee:

  • Two and s half days of Workshop instruction with educators and professional instructos
  • Admittance to the Showcase Concert and Spectacular Concert
  • Admittance to the Participant Reception including free dinner and featuring a private concert by Mariachi Cobre
  • Admittance to the Mariachis y Mas Fiesta
  • Admittance to the Vendor Exhibits and Resource Center at Corbett Center
  • Free Burger BBQ Luncheon for Students and Instructors
  • Free T-shirt and other momentos
  • Performance opportunities - audition for the Showcase and Fiesta when you register!
  • Mariachi and Folkloric Dance peer networking opportunities and lots more!

Q. Do I need to have a PayPal account to pay my registration fee?
A. No, but it is very simple to register for an account if you wanted one.

Q. What credit cards are accepted thru PayPal?
A. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

Q. What do I need to do to register?
A. Click on PayPal button, Pay for your registration and then fill out
your registration form after your payment is finalized.

Q. Why do I have to pay first before I fill out the registration form?
A. In years past, we had lots of people registering for the conference
and then we had to chase them down for payment. This process is much
easier for us and for you.

Q. What do I do if I need to cancel my registration and request a
refund?
A. We would miss you but be sure to submit your request BEFORE OCTOBER

Q. What if I normally play with a group or dance with a group and I am
the only one attending?
A. Great! Register as an individual and enjoy your stay with us!

 

Director Registration Questions

Q. How do I register my group?
A. First, register yourself as the Group Director. After you submit
that, Polo will contact you within 48 hours via email and send you a link to get your
group members registered.

Q. What if I am only bringing part of the group to the conference this
year?
A. If your group is less than five members, please register yourselves
as Individual Participants and not as a Group. Hopefully, next year your
complete group can attend.

Q. Why can't I register my group as a group if I am only bringing 5 or
less members?
A. Sorry, we do it this way because some activities are setup for complete groups.
Please try to bring entire group next year.

Q. How do I go about paying for my group's registration fees?
A. Depends on whether you will pay by credit card, or send a check or
pay by school purchase order. Instrucitons are on the registration form.

Q. I want to pay by credit card or check.
A. Great! Polo will send you an invoice that you can use to pay your
fees with thru PayPal if paying by credit card. If by check, Polo will arrange that with you.

Q. I want to pay by check.
A. If you need to send a check, please know that your registrations are
not final until your monies clear your bank. That is a risk you take if
you pay by check.

Q. I need to pay by school purchase order.
A. You will need to fax us a copy of the purchase order so that we can
secure payment for your registrations.

Q. What if I can't get you a purchase order number right away?
A. Call Polo and make arrangements before you register yourself or your
group.

Q. Will I get notification once I register my group?
A. Yes, Polo will send you an email notification.

Q. What if my question is not answered here?
A. Call Polo. Or email Polo. He will get back to you ASAP.
